WOOD-RIDGE, NJ -  The Wood-Ridge Board of Education honored the January 2025 Students of the Month at its meeting on Monday night in the high school auditorium.

Each school administrator announced the student honorees from their building and posed for photos with the students for their parents.

Catherine E. Doyle School students were presented by Principal Lara Schmitt:

Kindergarten - Milo Ramos
1st Grade: Arna Armarnarayan
2nd Grade:  Zoey Aggarwal
3rd Grade: Luke Micowski

This year, the Doyle staff broadened the categories for student nominations to create a more inclusive recognition program. For December, Doyle School focused on student-writers, those who demonstrate talent, interest, and effort in writing.

Wood-Ridge Intermediate School students were presented by Interim Principal Rosemary Giacomelli:

4th grade: Amelia Ocampo
5th grade: Jack Rywalt
6th grade: Alalyn Campione

WRIS's January honorees were honored for being noteworthy musicians.

Wood-Ridge Junior/Senior High School students were presented by Principal Silvia Raguseo-Ruiz:

9th Grade:Ava Clare Dubenezic
10th Grade: William Guerrero
